Rock and Roll Bingo Fundraiser

Please support our Parents' Association Rock and Roll Bingo fundraiser on Friday 27th May 2016 at 9.30pm.  This event will be held in the Coach House Hotel, Ballymote and promises to be a fun-filled evening with lots of spot prizes and a raffle on the night.  Bingo books may be purchased on the night for €3 or 2 books for €5.  Admission is FREE. Donations of spot prizes will be gratefully accepted to the school office before the night.  This is a first for Ballymote and sincere thanks to the Parents' Association for organising.

Table Tennis All Ireland Champions!

Congratulations to our Under-19 Girls team who became All-Ireland Champions on Thursday 28th April in the National Basketball Arena, Dublin.  Well done also to our Under-15 Boys team who also progressed to the All-Ireland Table Tennis finals.  Congratulations also to our Under-19 Boys team who won silver in the Connacht finals on Thursday 7th April in Castlebar.

Coláiste Muire rated in top 20 mixed

schools in the whole of Ireland!

Coláiste Muire were recently rated in the top 20 Irish feeder schools for University entrance out of 490 mixed post primary schools in the whole of Ireland.  The survey was published by the Irish Times and showed 98% of our students sitting the Leaving Certificate in 2015 progressing to a variety of third level Colleges (including Trinity, DCU, UCC, NUIG, MU, UL, DIT, Athlone I.T., Sligo I.T., Letterkenny I.T. & GMIT).  The survey results are testament to our continual focus on effort and personal bests throughout our school.  Well done to all students, teachers and families for your continual hard work and support.  The survey results are available by clicking the links below.
